If you do get to attend, I hope the subject of its cost is brought up.  In the 51 years that I have been a diabetic, I have never had to have someone administer glucagon to me.  And, the Dexcom certainly has been the greatest invention to keep me from needing it.  Yes, I do get urgently low, but I have had time to treat it.  I may keep dropping, but I have juice, glucose tablets or a carb in me by then and just sit and wait!  I refuse to spend $300 for a kit that only lasts one year and will probably never be used.  And, that is the Good Rx price for every pharmacy near me.
