[Diabetes-Talk] re question about fast acting insulin

I would think that insulin is just insulin. It's the drugs that help people
with type 2 make their own insulin that we can't take. I'll have to read up
and see if it's authorized for use in pumps. Way back when I was using my
Disetronic, Apidra first came out and everyone went for it. Me too. The
first time I tried it, it totally burned out the motor in my pump because it
had a consistancy that just glued everything together. Oops!
But Patricia, I have the same problem after breakfast and right now, my
first thing in the morning numbers don't always behave as I expect. Big
surprise! It's probably stress. Anyway, before my next endo appointment in
April, I will snoop. Thanks for the info, Gary.
