Yes, I, too, waste strips with the Prodigy.  I only get 35 a month, so 
they go fast.  The prodigy takes more blood, so I think this is the 
issue for me.  I'm trying the Clever choice discussed on this list.  I'm 
paying out of pocket because I already got a Prodigy paid for last 
year.  Depending on how the Clever Choice works, I'll use the Prodigy as 
a back up.
