It happens and I do believe it speaks to something that is not totally
correct with our meters. Unless you can't tell when you are low and are
passing out, I think doing the reading again will usually correct itself.

David I have done the same thing matter of fact When I reported my reading
to my daughter who is a medical assistant she told me to go to the hospital
immediately, so I called 911 and they sent an ambulance and they came out
and they checked my blood sugar and it was something like 116 but the meter
sowed 35 and my Dexcom said it was something like 50 but because if I take
the ambulance ride the insurance covers most of but if I don't I have to pay
around $900.00 of the bill so I went to the hospital and they ran a couple
of tests on my blood and sent me home, so now if I'm feeling fine I don't
pay much attention to it.

I felt fine -- and I had had three doughnuts two hours previously.
