Hi Terri,
I also went through the same experience a few years back. By what you are saying, it essentially means that you need to control your cravings.
For that what I do is take 5-6 mini meals in a day. I eat something after every 2-2 n half hours. You should eat when you are little hungry and stop when you are almost full and not when you are totally full. This will actually let you control your cravings.
