Hello,

Apple has released iOS 14.4.1 which came out the other day.

It was a minor security fix.

Also, check the Dexcom website to see if your Dexcom G5 will work with the
newer iphones on the market. Be also aware that iPhone 13 is expected
sometime in the fall along with iOS 15.X.

Hi all,
As the Australian government equivalent to the U S  Medicare has not yet
approved the Dexcom G6, I have found myself stuck with the Dexcom G5, still
using I O S 12.4, and am tiring of Apples increasingly persistent requests
to upgrade.

When I O S 13 was released, I contacted Dexcom's office here, and was
advised not to upgrade my I O S until it was specifically approved on the
Dexcom's approved devices web page. 

Of course, I O S 13, and now 14, have not yet been shown as approved for my
phone on their web page.

So, if anyone is successfully using the G5 with IOS 14, that would give me
another reason to take the gamble.   After all, if someone here started
using Dexcom now, it would be the G5, and most likely, they would already
have I O S 14 on their phone,, so if worst came to worst, I could buy
another phone.
