Hi,

For those who miss the Home Button from the older iPhones, you do have the option of turning on the Back Tap feature found in Settings, Accessory, Touch (button), single tap until you come to Back Tap which by default is OFF.

I have mines set to  single finger double tap to close a program and triple tap to bring up the app switcher.

Hi Patricia,

Your note regarding the home button on the older Iphone models. With newer Iphones not having this home button anymore, there is a download of an assistant touch home button that is always on the screen. You touch it or tap it and it works just same as the discussed home button. A free download from the app store and it works without a problem. You or to be honest, a sighted person can drag this to whatever area of the screen you want this button. I have not figured out how to drag this with voice over on. When voice over is off, you simply press your finger and drag it to where ever you want this button located. Thought this may be something you and others may find of interest.

My Cited husband recently decided on the SE Which came out last year and has most all the capabilities of the 11s except for the super Duper camera which is not important to him anymore than it is to me. He likes it because it still has the home button and did not have a learning curve for using new finger gestures. The 64 GB was $399. Which is their least expensive phone and hopefully will last five or six years.  It is the same size as the six, seven,  Andeight.
