Yes its very rapid.i have had  better  control compared to  humolog that I was on previously. I was not doing well with humolog  having ot take extra doses  to correct those spikes, and my a1c for two blood work wer resulting in not what I wanted to be.my doctor told me about it and I have been on it for 2 months now .  Will have to get my next 3 month refill next month.
