Mark, I was in the same boat as you insurance for a few months would cover
dexcom and then would not and out of pocket expense . now on libre system.
Will be starting the libre 2 next week as the prescription was just
approved by insurance and now have to pick them from my local cvs pharmacy
this week. Will let you guys know how my libre 2 experience goes. My endo
says that he has a bunch of folks on libre 2 who are type 2 an they really
like it and it gives them a lot of info about managing their type 2
diabetes.

Hello Jessica,
My insurance does not cover the dexcom CGM but it does cover the freestyle
libre at a discounted rate of 70 dollars per month.
Definitely look at yhour options. Also I am working with a med management
person who is very helpful and supportive.
