Dmg, not all can get the insurance to cover dexcom. I was one of those wher
I would get the run around with dexcom and insurance. The libre has been the
alternative for those who realistically cant afford the dexcom. Its good to
have alternatives. Libre 1, and now libre 2 and libre 3 which is the real
time cgm like dexcom, which has just been approved in Europe will be in
clinical trials by end of year and be on market by 2022. So there will
even be more competition in the cgm market with both abbots cgm and dexcom
as well as a few other new comers to the cgm competition party. These
things are what will keep a lot of diabetes management in better control
and avoid complications down the road .
