[Diabetes-Talk] Dexcom patches

An IV prep wipe is used before inserting something like a sensor, and
obviously before an IV is inserted. It cleans the area, but can also help
protect the skin. I've also never heard of a patch that goes on before the
sensor, but maybe it's something new. Keep us posted.

I do wipe the area where it is after you have the sensor on for several
days.
