I haven't had any problems with Dexcom relating to updates so I will do the same.

Thanks Greg & all for the responses. I’ve always just gone ahead and updated my phone and have never had issues with Dexcom. This notice was a bit different from the usual Dexcom non-specific message about the app possibly not working correctly so it got my attention. I suspect that I more than likely will move forward when the next IOS update comes out and deal with any consequences.

I will check my settings before updating and keep my fingers crossed.

Thanks.

Eileen

Hello,
I too got this notification when opening up the app today. I don’t think it is anything to worry about. There is a feature coming out in the next iOS that lets you delay your notifications until certain times. For example you could say I don’t want to see any of my notifications till 5PM on workdays. If you do that with the dexcom app you might miss low or high notifications. I also believe there will be a way to exclude apps if you choose to use this feature. Also if you don’t use the feature everything should work as normal.

So, he said, we need to get on the Dexcom website and find the com pat ability section. He says there is a form there that we can fill out. But, they’re in the compatibility section, we can find out when the new Dexcom updates will catch up to the iOS 15. When it does, we can turn the automatic updates on and download the iOS 15 so that it’s caught up. But he actually recommends leaving the automatic updates turned off.

Some of this was displayed as screen image so I could not determine exactly what needs to be done so the phone will continue working with Dexcom.
