[Diabetes-Talk] Suggestions for clear liquid diet

Hi Lisa,

     They should tell you what meds you can and can't take before the
procedure.  For instance, when i've done a colonoscopy, they've told me how
to take my insulin.  Gatorade is another clear liquid you should be able to
have.  It is possible to get gatorade and jello that don't have those
colors.  But you might need a diligent shopper assistant, or someone who
you trust will really look for you.  I know there is blue Gatorade and
Jello.  Hope this helps, and hope your procedure goes well.
