Hey Gary,
I do not believe you will be paying for my Insulin!  It will be Medicare that will cover the difference , just like your insurance company does for you right now.

But its going to  raise the cost for those who are on private insurance like myself who pay for it and are self employed . I have a feeling someone will have to pay for the  higher   costs. there is no free lunch.

Hi Joy! I totally agree, since I also entered the wonderful coverage gap. A one month supply of insulin for me now cost $150. Fortunately, my doctor was kind enough to give me a couple of sample vials of insulin to help me through this time. Rationing insulin should not be something we have to even consider in order to be able to have enough insulin without going into debt over it.
