These cap things to me skittish. In theory, it sounds great, however, there’s another side to this coin. And that is, when it’s time for the insurance to cover the cost of our insulin, they may start capping us on our usage. We might not get what we need that way. You know that’s how they cover the caps. Put a cap on the cost of insulin, and then they kept us. They kept us and how much they think we can have. I’m not sure I can go along with that with a good conscience.

>> A major opportunity to make insulin more affordable is pending in the U.S. Senate and JDRF needs YOUR help to build support! Senate Diabetes Caucus Co-Chairs Jeanne Shaheen and Susan Collins announced a bipartisan bill that includes a $35 per month co-pay cap, removes insulin from the deductible, and creates a pathway to reverse runaway insulin list prices.
>>
>> This bill, the INSULIN Act, will have a significant impact on lowering the cost of insulin whether you have insurance or not and is the ONLY solution currently available that could get the 60 votes needed to pass the U.S. Senate. However, your help is critical to make this happen!

>> Contact your Senators today and urge them to support the INSULIN Act to make insulin more affordable.
