Ed, have you updated talkback .the samsung devices  you have to  update talkback from the  galaxy store.  Other android  devices  you update from the  google playstore.  As well have you updated apps fro mboths  store on samsung deivces you have to update from both stores as sometime samsung deivce do some confusing things.but they are the popular ones  on the android  side along  side google own pixels.
