Two not a doctor thoughts; first is that Januvia is supposed to change effectiveness depending on blood sugar levels, I. E. Be more effective when sugar is high, and less effective when sugars are low… perhaps this effect is not compatible with your body system.
Second thought, perhaps during times you are not testing, I. E. Like at night, you are actually getting lows which are causing your liver to dump glycogen into your bloodstream, resulting in the highs by the time you test again in Europe, where I got my diabetes education, this phenomenon was called dawn syndrome… Where you would have slight lows at night which would cause highs in the morning. I would also be concerned about concentrating all your calories in a 7 to 8 hour timeframe… Depending on your digestive efficiency, this could cause highs at odd times. Just a couple thoughts you may consider bringing up with your doctor.
