I'm using IOS 16.4 with the Iphone 13 mini and it works great with the
Dexcom G7.

Hello,

I have been following your post and troubles with your Dexcom and iPhone.
Have you gone to the Dexcom website to see if your iOS and phone model is
compatible with the version of your Dexcom app?

I found that my iPhone 14 Pro running iOS 16.3.1 was not compatible with the
Dexcom G6 about a week before Thanksgiving. I had been without my continuous
glucose monitor since then. About 4 weeks ago I went in to see my Diabetes
Educator and I temporarily switch to the Libra 2 which worked until I was
able to get my doctor to submit a new prescription for the Dexcom G7. I'm on
my second transmitter/sensor for the G7 and all is going well. I'm still
unable to update my iOS to 16.4 as the Dexcom website tells me that my phone
will only work with iOS 616.3. I have been watching the Dexcom website on a
regular basis for when I can update to 16.4.

I suggest that you take the time to check the website to make sure your
phone and Dexcom is properly matched for compatibility. If you need the web
address to the page, let me know.

I did that as well, but it still didn't come back.
This foolishness has started with the upgrade, just doesn't make sense to me
at all.
