The reason why all these companies are going towards android is that the developer fee for android is a one time fee of $25 to set up the developer account and its not like apple developer account where you are paying four times that amount every year.

Yes, I've done all of what Ed just said too. The Google keyboard sure made a huge difference. My son also has hidden everything on my phone, so that only Omnipod, settings and Gluco for the Omnipod data are on my Home screen.
I'm going to look over the links that Gary sent to see if I missed doing something to make the phone work closer to how the iPhone does.

Thanks for posting that link Gary. The Talkback screen reader is really close to Voiceover now. The only issues that I had with Talkback actually was because of the 1 U I interface/launcher. I installed the Microsoft Launcher and it gave the grid pattern just like iOS, this makes it easier to customize the interface. This launcher also allowed me to easily hide the apps I didn’t need, or will never use. I also installed the G-Board keyboard made by Google and now the typing experience is much better and far less touchy/jumpy. The Samsung on screen keyboard is awful, and the Google keyboard is much more manageable.
My recommendation is go for it, if you are even the slightest bit curious about the system. Nothing says that you can’t switch to the iPhone app if/when it is finally released. I am actually thinking that I will stick with the Android set up when the iPhone app comes out, as I like the idea of leaving my actual phone behind so people can not reach me or bug me. I did this for the first time the other day and it was amazing!
