[Diabetes-Talk] Some basic Libre 3 Questions

Hi, Gary.

I've had my Libre sensor on for a week and it's really eye opening what
different foods do to my glucose levels.

My sister is also a type 2 and she's had a Libre for several months.
she told me when I first activated the sensor that the Libre will train
me how to eat and was she ever right.  So far I haven't had issues with
the sensor, but as you say I have to be careful when getting dressed or
moving through tight areas.

     Take care,

Lisa

I have been using the libre for several years now, and only once have I knocked off a sensor. There are times I have come very close. I have to watch how fast I take off my shirt at night, make sure that I don't rub up against doorframes when I'm moving in and out of a room, and be very careful when I am sitting on a leather couch and rub my arm against it. I think covering Zara good idea if you can find ones that you can easily apply. When I use them, I particularly like the fact that they keep my sensor dry. I like to do hourly floats in saltwater for relaxation and meditation, and although I have done this several times with an exposed sensor, the thought of doing it bothers me.

Yes, the chocolate doughnuts are wonderful, and there are only six of them, but the sensor doesn't care how good they taste and reminds me that my long-term health is more important than my short-term sugar hit.
