Paul,

Sometimes it helps to completely power off the phone and then restart it after 1 or 2 minutes. HTH.

Thank you all for your help!

Following your advice, I went to the VoiceOver settings and found Voiceover Recognition, and opened that to find that Image Recognition was already turned off, and the other 2 options were also turned off.

Remembering that iPhones occasionally need an item to be switched then switched back to obey that setting, I did that to ensure Voiceover knew I wanted Image Recognition off, but it still tries to describe the graph, which is apparently visually to the right of the value, and so, my original problem remains. (smile)

Oh well, as I said, it is a minor nuisance only, so I will get used to it untill Apple fixes it.

Thank you again for your assistance,
Paul.

Ed,
So it looks to me like if image recognition is turned off in the voice Over settings, that image recognition will be turned off entirely for all apps and websites and not just for the Dexcom app.
