Hi everyone.
Okay, I did the update yesterday, coming from 16.3. The only thing that
broke was the Siri shortcut. It kept saying there was a missing app. Tech
support told me that I had to uninstall the app, reinstall it and then pick
a new name for the shortcut. It was late and I was tired, so I complied.
What a royal pain in the you know what. The app was easy to deal with,
except for the stupid tutorial. Okay, it's fine if you need it. But each
screen I had to read the text, hit done, get taken right back to where I
was, finally move on after several tries, and lost count of the screens.
<grin> But I got it done. Just for fun, I tried the siri shortcut and got
the same results. So I changed my language and all was fine again. Then I
started thinking, did I really have to uninstall the app or could I have
simply changed the name of the shortcut? So if this happens to any of you,
give that challenge a try first. <grin> The tech person said they see this a
lot. I admit I was glad I hadn't taken out the trash and could still get to
the sensor applicator for the code. Sheesh!
Veronica
