Actually, if you ever have a problem with a sensor as I did, you do need to stop it. If you have to have an MRI, you do need to stop the sensor.
I use the Seeing AI app to read the code. The number is on the applicator itself. It is a round cyllinder shape with a giant button on one side. If you place the applicator in front of you and aim the big button towards twelve o'clock, then the code is on the side closest to you. My problem is that there are so many numbers, it's often hard to figure out which one is the code.
I do like how easily it pairs the transmitter with the phone though.
But man that blue tooth is fussy! I actually did my first calibration yesterday and once I found it, it wasn't too bad. A lot more confirms and saves though. My first sensor was very inaccurate on my arm so tech support had me go back to my belly.
But I do know they're working on the app, as well as giving more customer service training to the team.
Stay tuned.
Veronica

That's exactly what I have experienced, and you don't need to stop the sensor anymore you just start the new one and it just works.

Hi Patricia.
This is one good thing about the G7.
Once the sensor expires, you get a 12 hour grace period.
This allows you to change the sensor at your convenience, not when the sensor says. lol Then when you add in the new warm up, all you have to do is apply the new one before that 12 hour period ends, you have 0 warm up time.
For example, I usually put on the new sensor 5 or 6 hours before the
12 hour grace period ends to let the new sensor ajust.
That way when I get the notice that the sensor has expired I just activate the new one, and I'm immediately getting readings again.
No warm up.
Veronica, something has changed some what recently on ending the sensor.
That isn't something I ever really do, but I do know that it used to be doable using the screen recognition option using Voiceover.
I just checked when you asked about ending a sensor though, and I can't get it to work anymore.
Maybe you can get it to work, but I'm wondering if an app or iOS update changed it.
