[Diabetes-Talk] dexcom g seven

I'm using a 13 pro with iOS 16.3 and my screen looked a little different. When I enter the sensor pairing code, the screen has looked different each time. Can't wait to see what it looks like on Saturday. I do wish it were easier to find the code on the applicator. Mine gave me three different 4-digit numbers and I had no idea which one was the code.
Boy am I watching for updates!

Hi Amy,
To do the calibration, you will find at the bottom of your screen the second tab called History. Double tap that, Tap on Event at the top even though it says it is grayed.
>From the top of the next screen double tap Blood Glucose Finger Stick or Calibration.
>From the next screen swipe right from the top until you get to User Calibration.
You will then need to find the Edit Field and the numeric keyboard below that. Enter your glucose monitor reading in the field and find the SAVE button.
You will then be prompted to Confirm your entry which is a button.
Once all that is done it takes a few minutes to calibrate.
I, too have found that I will loose the Blutooth connection at different times of the day even when I have the phone right in my pocket. In checking the Dexcom website for compatibility iOS 16.5 has not been officially approved but a few of us who are using an iPhone 14 Pro and installed iOS 16.5 have been finding that it works to our liking.

Hello,
I just got my Dexcom G7 yesterday. I don’t know whether I will be able to keep it, as I was given egg sample, and Medicare is giving me a very hard time because I’m not on insulin. Anyway, I am running version 16.5 on an iPhone 14 Pro.
I have noticed the signal loss on Bluetooth if I don’t keep the phone right next to me. I haven’t yet Found any information about an expiringsensor, as I have my first one on. One question I have is about calibration. Why do you need to calibrate and where is that sitting, please? Also, other than breaking your finger, is there anyway to determine whether the unit is reporting your blood sugars accurately? Thanks very much.
Amy.
