Its for the  cgm sensor to pare with the blue tooth  interface . Remember with health apps stil there needs to be a pairing code to make sure its a secure hand shake between x and y  being x for the cgm sensor and y being the  blue tooth interface .

Firstly, I would like to know if this is really necessary. What is the purpose of the QR code and the G7 sensors/transmitters? Do we need this? Please explain! I am actually very leery of things about QR codes and just scanning my phone in And unknown places. At least I think they're unknown places. I'm not that brave. Maybe you are. But I'm not. I don't use Apple Pay for the very same reason. Scares me spotless that somebody else might have a look at my bank account that I may not want .
