No, they are a company.all they care is about sales annd not a particular
group , but that they sell or service to a bunch of users and candidates
that are ssales targets for their products and services. Unfortunately that
is how the business world works lately .

Thanks so much, Veronica for your explanation of your experience, as well!
It's so good for all of us blind users to keep up on how we, a target
market of Dexcom's consumers, are having to adjust to their products. With
so many blind sharing on these lists serves, I'm hoping the blind users of
the G7, are also sharing and calling the company, regarding personal
experiences, as you are.
Doesn't it seem that after a while, changes with products would just have to
happen because of the requested need from so many of their consumers?
I do love Dexcom and very thankful for their openness and interest to user
feedback!
Mary

Hi everyone.
I am using the G7 with an iPhone 13 pro. My advice, wait!
The most important thing for me is that VoiceOver can't recognize the stop
sensor or the replace sensor buttons. I had Apple accessibility look at the
screen and VoiceOver is not seeing those buttons as separate item. So it
says sensor and that's it. Dexcom tech support says they've seen this with
other users and hopefully they'll work on this one quickly. We cannot
independently stop a sensor on the iPhone app.
Also, the blue tooth is really feeble. You really have to keep your phone in
your pocket all the time or you'll lose the sensor reading. Most of the time
it's quite accurate, but it's not so good about lows. I always feel my low
before it says anything. I did not have this problem with the G6.
There are many odd looking screens. It took me two days to find calibration.
Oh boy! It's an event, which shows up in the history section under the
profile tab.
Also, the data from Dexcom clarity comes up showing on the home screen. It
makes the screen really chatty and busy. Once I figured out that I could
take it off, things were easier to read and manage. I can still read the
Clarity app and I don't go looking at my averages all that often anyway.
The alarms didn't do much for me either. It is nice that they have the quiet
setting. Although when I went in there to look at it, the only way I could
get out of it was to close the app and then come back in. That put me back
on the main screen, in the glucose tab.
Sorry, yes it's cute. I like the 30-minute warmup and the grace period at
the end. They claim that the sensor now goes in straight so we shouldn't
have the problems that happen when we lie on the thing at night.
But it sure doesn't look like it has been tested much, for anyone, before
releasing.
I had such excitement and high hopes. Kind of disappointed. Just my
experience.
Veronica

Hi All,
I'm on the Gbleg and am an Android user. I did not have to logout of
my Gblef app at all for the Gbleg app to work. I'm pleased with the upgrade
changes. The alarms are pretty much the same. Now you only get a ending
reminder at the 24 hour mark. At At least that was my experience with the
one sensor I've gone through the ten days with. You get a 12-hour grace
period after the sensor dies that you can continue receiving readings.
Clarity information is now inside the Dexcom app which I think is helpful.
One thing I'd like to see improved is how the reading are verbally
expressing and staying steady or going up and down. It doesn't always match
so well with what the graph shows. The sensor is tiny and all one piece.
And the warmup time seems like a flash, maybe 20 minutes instead of 2 hours.
Hope this helps all who are upgrading.
Warmly,

Hi,
If you have the Dexcom G6 installed on your phone you will need to either
remove the Dexcom G6 before you can install the Dexcom G7 or you need to
logout from the Dexcom G6 before you can login to your Dexcom g7.
HTH.

I am excited about getting the g seven yesterday.
Now I was trying to down load the app where the silly thing says we don't
have the same pass word.
I called over where they read the same one I put in.
So now I need to wait until the 27th to get the help to learn how to put
this on, and get it set up in the app.
It seemed to me it took quite some time to travel here loll.
Just wanted to share.
