Ok, that’s a good start, now the open area of the container/applicator is the side you point on your tummy and make sure the button on the side is not facing up or down but to the side and then you would press the button to release the sensor from the applicator.

It's very small and I wouldn't think it would be easily knocked off. They make a big fuss about it being necessary to use their overpatch. What a joke! I couldn't get the backing off without pulling an extra layer off. I asked tech support if they could send me a couple practice ones. Their answer, no. Nobody can get these on and they'll be redoing them. That made me feel better. Mine have stayed on, no problem so far.
>> As for getting the readings to your doctor, do you have the Dexcom Clarity app? If you get it, you can go in there, choose share, then get a code, which you give to your doctor. You decide how long it lasts. Once the doctor has your code, he or she can see all of your readings. This is how I did it with the G5 and G6 as well.
>> The tech support person did not tell me when they'd fix the blue tooth. I do know that they've lost customers over this. I don't like it but I can understand how they'd miss or not test for a VoiceOver problem. But not catching a lousy blue tooth, the mind boggles.
