You know patience is a virtue. I definitely would say: when you have a meal of any kind, always wait for a while before you administer your blood-sugar test. You see, you have to let your body digest the food so that you will get the truest result. Also, take one cinnamon pill once daily so that you test will show more favorable. When you see the doctor for your a-1-c will show a much better result almost to the point where you can avoid taking medicine. I am in natural medicine. Good luck.

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] Coffee
Hi All,
After I have dinner, I sometimes like to have a cup of black coffee. Now my question is, should I start counting my time to check my sugar after I finish my coffee or my meal? Thanks in advance for your assistance!
