With the Dexcom G7, there is a limited number of replacements in a 12 month period if you do not have the serial number listed on the applicator of the sensor. The serial number begins with I believe 21 in parentheses, but it is a 12 digit number.
Not familiar with any new policies for  the G6 regarding replacements. Worth looking into if you are a G6 user.
