Jamie, just use what works for you. No need to change if something is
working for you .

Hi Veronica! I am glad to hear that the IOS version works. I'm still using
the Android phone with my Omnipod 5 and just love it. I'm a bit nervous to
change to using my iPhone, so I'm glad to hear it works for you.

Hi Greg.
I know of several people successfully using the Omnipod 5 iOS app. I am
using it now, but in manual mode because I didn't want to go back to the
Dexcom G6. I'm really enjoying the ease of giving a bolus, reading history
and editing and setting up basals, etc. The most annoying thing is that when
you first start, you have to use their receiver. All you have to do is get
signed in and check a box or two, then you're done. Of course, you do the
exact same thing on the app, ridiculous! But if you have never used an
Omnipod, you'll likely get training anyway. I'm thrilled not to have to
carry two things around all of the time.
The app has a few squirrely things but it is very usable by us. Others can
talk more about using it in automated mode, where I will eventually be, but
I'm happy to have this option now.
Veronica

Hello all,
Has anyone been able to test out the new iOS app for the OmniPod5? I was
curious to see if it was accessible or not.

Thanks,
Greg Wocher
