[Diabetes-Talk] Healthy Breakfasts for Diabetics

Hi Marianne,

I vary mine a little, but my favourite is rolled oats, the type that you
normally need to cook in a pot first, but if you put your normal serve
straight from the pack into a bowl, with your usual amount of milk, and
cover with cling wrap or something and place in the fridge the night before,
then microwave in the morning, it turns out great.

Depending on my B G level, I mix in a few prunes or a sprinkle of some
low cal moosely before microwaving.

Soaking the oats in milk over night has a similar affect to cooking them,
but no cleaning the pot afterwards. (smile).

Best wishes,
Paul in Australia.
