I am still using the G6 with my Tandem X2.
I much prefer the independence I have when connecting it with my phone.
Only have to go into the pump itself when using a new transmitter not the
sensor.
With the 7, isn't it all connected now. I think that might be the reason for
having to go into the pump with each new sensor change?

I am talking with one of the reps this week to see when I can have hands on
with the G7 and get some questions addressed.

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] Tandem T slim X 2 pump, and Dexcom G7 sensor

Is anyone using the Dexcom G7 sensor with their tandem pump? My Endo gave me
a sample to try and I was easily able to set up the G7 app and start the new
sensor from the phone but even though I had my pump set for the G7 sensor,
the readings did not automatically Start showing on my pump. The only way I
could get it to do that was to have my husband go into the pump and also
start the sensor from there. This does not allow me to independently start a
new sensor and have it pair with my pump so that control IQ will be active
and the pump will work in the automated mode that it is designed to do. Is
anyone else using the new G7 with their tandem pump and have you found a
way to get it started without cited assistance?
Patricia.
