[Diabetes-Talk] Libre Sensor Question

Hi, all.

I feel really silly asking this question.  I'm not sure if this is a
memory thing or a blindness thing, but either way, I feel really
disappointed with myself.

today would have been the third time injecting the Libre III sensor.
The first two times, my sister was here and helped me with it because
she has been using a Libre for a while.  I thought I had the process
down but apparently not.

Today I twisted off the bottom of the applicator and was all ready to
put in my sensor.

Only I think I did it backwards.  The needle came out of the back of the
applicator and hit my right hand.  It was like the whole applicator fell
apart.

So, just to confirm for me, which part of the applicator goes against
the arm and which is the part you push down on to release the needle?  I
really think I tried putting it in backwards. Either that or my sensor
is defective.

Which ever one it is, I lost $75 If it's defective I can just call
Abbott and get a replacement, but as I said, I need to know for sure.

Thanks for the help, and try not to laugh so hard you splash coffee on
your keyboard.

Lisa
