If your phone is set up to work with siri by just saying !siri! it will do
that without pressing the side button.

When I press the side button to invoke siri, and ask her that, she says that
she can not do that, but I can find that information in the health app.  How
do I get Siri to tell me?

Using the G7 with Siri using iOS 17.4 I use the command Siri, what is my 
glucose? And I get a response with the reading from the app.

I've made an interesting discovery with my Dexcom G7. If I ask Siri, using 
hey siri, what my reading is, it often says, your sensor reading is not 
available. Yet if I actually open up the app myself, lo and behold, look 
Mom! A number! Sheesh!
I'm going to watch it to see if this is a real trend or if that was just a 
moment when it changed suddenly.

Thanks for sharing all kinds of interesting information. I have listened 
recently to several interviews of Dexcom employees, and have learned that 
the Dexcom G7 is going to show more fluctuation than the G6 because the G6 
was designed to try to even out our blood sugars on the graph and it's 
reporting. Apparently the G7 is supposed to be showing us more accurately 
the little ups and downs that our blood sugar may go through even in a one 
hour period of time. However, huge excursions in blood sugars still 
generally mean, either a bad sensor or a poor sensor site.
