I'm not sure but when I got on the Dexcom program through my supplier, i was
sent the desktop receiver which is not accessible.

You will have to rely on the app. The app is free from the Apple App Store
and will require you to register to use the app with Dexcom.

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] dexcom question

Hello, all:
Since my insurance company has denied both my appeal and original request
for a Dexcom 7, I'm considering buying it out of pocket using a coupon from
the Dexcom website which covers most pharmacies including Amazon. Since I
am totally blind and have an IPhone, do I need the receiver, sensor, and
transmitter? Or, just the IPhone app and sensor? How many sensors would I
need for a 90 day supply? Thanks.
Louise Peyton
