Jane, the cost varies by insurance plan and even then, mail order is different from when you pick it up. Each person must check the prices with their insurance companies and their over the counter providers. Also, different pharmacies have different pricing, some times.

I just checked the cost and the FreeStyle Libre 3 is $40.00-$45.00 cheaper per month in my area at OTC prices.
They did recall some faulty sensors if you look on their website.
