[Diabetes-Talk] Anyone else loseing some finger sensitivity from type 1

Hi Cindy,

Thank you for being straightforward.

If it is just getting older, almost 75, I don’t need to beat myself up over not being careful enough about the diabetes when I was younger.

At least my overall health is still ok, no problems with my feet etc.

Now, I'll just blame those food companies for making the pesky stickers so hard to find! Smile.

Warm regards,
Paul in Australia.

Well, Paul, this is something I know many older people complain about.
So, as much as it pains me to say it, it is probably due to getting
older. Perhaps yours is a bit sooner or more problematic with added
diabetes but unless you have been uncontrolled to the point of coma many
times, I would not attribute it to just diabetes. It pains me to write
this as I have started struggling to open the cat's treat bag like my
mother used to do.
