I hope you are doing well! My research team is conducting research on diabetes and blindness. Below is the opportunity!

Hello,

You are invited to participate in a research study titled “Diabetes Health Outcomes for People who have Vision Loss and Use Voice Assistant Technology”. This study is for people who are blind or living with low vision and living with diabetes. The goal of the study is to understand more about diabetes health outcomes and technology usage for people with vision loss.

Inclusion Criteria: Age 18 years and over, Diagnosis of diabetes by a healthcare provider, A person with vision loss diagnosed by a healthcare provider, English language fluency.
Compensation: $25 gift card after completion of the survey.

Why your participation matters: Your insights and experiences are invaluable in shaping a more inclusive, accessible, and informed healthcare environment. By participating, you contribute to a study that may lead to enhanced education and training for healthcare professionals, ultimately improving care for people with diabetes and vision loss. This study has been approved by the Ohio University Institutional Review Board (IRB-FY25-541).
