I did that for android devices. it was strange. They had no clue about it . Had to explain what I was talking about to the rep that was helping me on the line. They did take down my info along with a dducmented info of what was going on as best as I could explain to them, with my serial number to my dexcom sensor and info on Friday afternoon. Hopefully it will get resolved with the next updates. What was the point of them having the dexcom ay11 survey form and all that creation, if there was not going to be follow up to when things went hay wire like this issue. Imagine that I had not warned about it on the forum, and it had hit both plattforms android and I OS, what would be the reaction there. I am just looking out for the entire community, no matter what platform they are using , android or I OS, to get there dexcom or any other insulin pump info on their smart phone device.

Gary and other android users,
Thanks for all of the information about the ability to read the Dexcom graph going away. And talking with other iPhone users it appears that it’s still working OK with iOS. The Accessible Insulin Pump Task Force contacted the Dexcom app developers late Thursday and they responded several times on Friday, expressing their appreciation For all of the feedback and have started their team working on fixing the several problems that we mentioned. They were extremely sorry to hear of this setback and our empathetic about how disappointing it is as we have been requesting these features for several years just to have them taken away suddenly.
If any of you also have time to call the Dexcom technical support 24 hour phone line to report this setback. It would be great to have this documented as they do keep track of the number of people that call in on anyone problem and this would help to back up what we have already told them. There is power in numbers.
These new features began working on iOS just a few days ago and those of us who are iPhone users had no idea that android users had had this feature available for several months. If those of you who are android users could keep posting any new features or loss of features that you notice or contact anyone on the task force that would be great so we can keep up-to-date in what we are reporting to the developers at Dexcom.
Patricia.

I’m so glad my apps don’t update automatically. It’s weird that today was the first time I got that June update though. Guess I will stay there. Sheesh!

>> The June 17 update on the iOS side is the one that introduces some access to the graph. I couldn’t get that update to show up on my phone until today. But I’m enjoying the beginning of having a bit more information. I haven’t looked at the number, but the numbers never match between android and iOS. But it works.

The version on the google playstore side, is version 2.9.1 from July 10,2025. I had version 2.9.0 , on the android side , till I got the version 2.9.1 , which broke on the android side with auto scrubbing to read the graph points and trens . both apps on both side prior to the update, you could do the auto scrub an read with either side screen reader, on either voice over on I OS side or talkback on the android side . the android version is broken with the update, so I will then go back and se who I can contact to fix the matter before its pushed to the I OS side.

The new version which was pushed out today , does not have that feature any more . in which you now have to share the dexcom app to be my eyes in order to understand the graph points and trends on the graph . Don’t know who fumbled this one on the new update .
