[Diabetes-Talk] Seeking advice re changing from the G6 to G7 soon

Paul,
With the G7, there is no paper to peel off of the adhesive which is nice. You just unscrew and remove the lid and then you need to press the device firmly against the skin which releases a mechanism that will then allow you to press the Button to do the insertion. If you do not press against the skin hard enough, this button cannot be pressed. It is a bit awkward, putting the sensor on the back of your own arm, but you  can do it. The sensor code is on the applicator on the opposite side from where the release button is and can either be scanned directly into the Dexcom app or you can use another app to read the number allowed to you and then enter it manually into the app.
