[DSM-Iowa] Des Moines Area Banquet party for national convention

Greetings,

 

At the April chapter meeting the subject of once more having a banquet get
together in Des Moines for the evening of the NFB Convention banquet was
discussed.

 

The proposal at this point would be to get a group of us together to listen
to the banquet and have dinner together. Last year about ten of us met at
the Holiday Inn Northwest, where we have had several state conventions over
the past years. Everyone got together and ordered the meal they wanted for
the banquet and enjoyed the fellowship of dining together. The question is,
would you like to see us do this again? If so, would you prefer to do the
same format as we did last year and the same place? 

 

I am sure you will have other questions too. The bottom line is this,
please, let me know either by phone at 515 334-7231 or here on the listserv
what you would like to see us do. We need your suggestions so that we can do
what the group would like to do. I promised the chapter that I would bring
the results back to the chapter meeting in May so that we may set things in
motion. 

 

Remember, this year many of us should be able to get together and enjoy the
evening. Your suggestions are needed.
