[DSM-Iowa] How-To Tuesday is Here! Let's Make Magic with the Magic Pot

There is a learning curve with the Instant Pot. Most of us are used to cooking our foods a certain amount of time, and in the Instant Pot, many foods are done much more quickly. But learning the device is very worth it. Kent and I cook lots of dried beans. We didn’t do that before the Instant Pot, but they taste better from dried than from a can. And, after they’re soaked, they take something like 20 minutes to cook in the Instant Pot. Pulled Pork, which we used to do in a slow-cooker and cook for hours, is done In less than an hour. 

Not every device is for everyone, but this one has changed our lives.

Well, Sharonda can make one heck of a banana bread. Although, I don't think it was made in the instapot. OK, now that everyone is hungry, I guess I should get back to work. *laughs*
