Good evening, all

 

I hope you are doing well and enjoyed our brief spring weather in February. 

I wanted to write for some quick updates. 

Saturday the 19th we held our second board meeting of the year, all board
members present, as well as guests Des Moines Chapter members Terry Hall,
and Scott Van Gorp.

 

We covered quite a few things during our meeting. 

The minutes for the Board meeting will be released shortly, but first I
wanted to talk about some of the things that are coming up soon. 

 

Game night will return March 8th. 

YATP students and staff as well as of course center students and staff have
been invited.  At our first game night we will enjoy some lasagna. So please
help us introduce students and staff to our federation family

 

50/50 will return at our next chapter meeting. 

If you will not be able to be present and you want to participate, please
contact David Hammel to get your money in. 

For those who will be there in person it will be in cash as usual. 

 

Sarah Willeford Director, Iowa Library for the Blind and Print Disabled will
be joining us at our next chapter meeting to talk about what the library is
working on. 

 

Our IL integration dinner will be held on April 11th at IDB.
