[DSM-Iowa] Game night was great

Good evening. 

 

First, I want to extend my thanks and appreciation to all who were involved
in the planning of our first Game night in over 2 years. To name a few Terry
Hall for helping with clean up. Cindy, David and Chelsea thank you three for
helping with meal prep. I really appreciate the work you all put in. Of
course, thank you to all who attended and participated engaging with our
center and YATP students. I saw and was told that it was a really fun night.
I would definitely qualify this as a success. 

 

A special thanks to Nami Wallace who graciously allowed us the use of her
classroom to prep the meal during class time. We really appreciate her, and
of course Karly for allowing us to reach out to the center students. 

 

We had lasagna, salad, mac and cheese, Hawaiian roles, limon aid, and
brownie bites. 

There were several spirited games taking place, as well as a great Ice
breaker that brought some good national convention memories, and some things
to look forward to this year. 

 

Again, thank you to all who attended. 

 

I look forward to next month when we may have the attendance of new
students, and hopefully more to come. 

 

Our next game night is set for April 5th in IDB's room 2 south.
