Subject: Game Nights

Good morning Becky,

As the building manager, I wanted to touch base with you regarding communications when entering the IDB building. I need communications regarding game night. These communications include any changes in the time/date when you are having game night, cancelations, as well as if you and/or other chapter members come early to prep food so that our Home Management instructor is aware and can more easily accommodate. I am more than happy to have game night in our building, as this promotes camaraderie amongst students and members, however it is important that I am made aware of any changes or needs ahead of time. Due to security and safety reasons, such as a fire, tornado, etc., building duty staff needs to know who is in the building at all times. FYI: the north doors will be open at the agreed upon time of 5:00-5:30PM. After this time, all doors will be locked, and you and/or any member attending the event will need to contact a member of your party so they can let you in.
Note: Please make sure that the north door closes behind you when entering and exiting the building so that no one walks in without anyone’s knowledge. If someone wants to gain entry and is not a member of the organization or event, please under no circumstances allow them entry into the building, asking them instead to call the duty phone at 515-249-6328, or the person they are here to meet.

If changes of any kind to the event occur, such as you or other members coming early to prep food, etc. is not communicated to me 24 hours before the scheduled date/time, moving forward, we will be unable to host game night in the building.
Thank you, and I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Karly Prinds
