[DSM-Iowa] meeting information

Good afternoon members,
I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for attending our meeting yesterday. I am glad to see the participation, and hope it continues. I am very excited about all of our fund raising event, and I hope we get a lot of participation. I want to thank Mary for all of the work that she has put in to these plans. As well as for the work that she is going to do. I also want to thank her for the work that she has done preparing the spread sheet of the legislators that are friendly to us.
I am getting very excited about National Convention, and then we have our State Convention coming up right behind it! Let’s get excited everyone! I hope you will take Mary’s challenge and come to our State Convention. Our chapter is working together, and that is how it is supposed to be. Remember that everyone of us is important. Your help, and participation is very much needed and wanted.
     After the meeting, somewhere between 12 and 15 of us went to the Royal Mile to eat. Some rode with Sharon Omvig, Thank you Sharon. Some of us walked. I believe there was 8 of us who walked. Walking was a blast. It was a beautiful day for that. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if all of us who attended the meeting would go out after for dinner? I think we should see if we can make it happen. Those of us who were at dinner unanimously decided that after our June meeting on June 10 we are going to eat at Court Avenue Brewing Company or known as CABCO. I will send out a reminder later.
