Hello Federation Family!

The Iowa State Fair is here — time to break those diets (or at least pretend a corn dog covers all the essential food groups)! Corn *is* a vegetable… right?

This year, MedAmerica is running a special program where they’ll be donating $1,000 every day of the Iowa State Fair to two deserving community organizations — and $5,000 on the final day to one of the 20 nominees. The NFB could be one of these nominees — if enough people nominate us!

Here’s the deal: each day of the fair, MedAmerica is spotlighting a different community group, and the more nominations we get, the better our chances of winning. That’s where *you* come in.

We need every Federationist to be loud, proud, and a little bit of a troublemaker (you know, our specialty). Ask your friends, your friend’s friends, your Uber driver, your dentist, your barista, and even that suspiciously smart dog down the street to nominate the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa.
