I have known Teresa since the early nineties when she and Loren joined our chapter in Waterloo. From that time on one or both of them were officers in that chapter until a ways into the twenty-first century. Also during that time Teresa served on the door prize committee for state conventions and who can forget the year she asked a business in Waterloo to donate some door prizes and they gave us several cases of single serve containers of pudding. If memory serves me correctly that every door prize drawn contained at least one four pack of pudding.

Yes, Teresa kept busy. About 2 weeks ago, the chair person of the fund raising committee Teresa Wakefield was admitted to the hospital. She went in with fatigue, and high blood pressure. Over the next few days she declined rapidly. She got pneumonia, and had to go on a ventilator. Her kidneys shut down, and she was put on dialysis. sometime during all this they discovered she had a hart attack. She is still on the ventilator, but is breathing over it. She is still having her ups and downs, and is going to be in the hospital for quite a while. Last I new she was critical but stable.
