Bob Ray seconded the motion. The Secretary's Report was approved.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Treasurer's Report Terri Wilcox moved to accept the Treasurer's Report. Roger Erpelding seconded the motion. The Treasurer's Report was approved.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>President Van Gorp gave a state of the state address. The fortieth anniversary was in 2021. State Convention 2024 is at the Holiday Inn. Washington Seminar is 1/29/2024-2/1/2024. Chelsea van Gorp is coordinating Bell with Becky Young assisting. 1/16/2024 is the National Federation of the Blind Day at the Capitol. Chelsea Van Gorp is Newsline Coordinator. Sarah Coleman is Treasurer of the Deafblind Division. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Committee Reports Theresa's Gaming Salon made $300. A Walk-A-Thon is suggested. The prescription bill is being drafted. Let your Senator and Representative know you support NFB Legislation.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Friends of the Library is having a concert on 11/17/2023 for $10.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Remarks from President Young Give refundable bottles to meetings for chapter fund raising. Bring money for the Give it up or do it challenge to the Christmas party. Bob Ray moved to have Mary Songson voted into the Chapter. Scott Van Gorp seconded the motion. The motion was approved. Dues need to be paid before the end of the year. Helen Mejia moved to not have minutes read at the meeting. The motion was amended to have the minutes not be read at the meeting. They will be sent via email and put on Newsline. Bob Ray seconded the motion. The motion passed. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>A speech by President Ricobono was played.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Presidential Release 531 was played.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The 50/50 amount of $24 went to Roger Erpelding. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Sharon Omvig moved to adjourn the meeting. John Gonzales seconded the motion.
