[Dtb-talk] issues with using victor stream

Hi, Fred - I would be interested in looking at the attachment you offered the listserv on how to use the Stream. I work in Wyoming and convert books for students with disabilities in K-12 settings and I'm not always successful in putting files on the media card in the right files. I couldn't open your attachment because I'm using a Mac. Would you please save it in .rtf format so I can open it?

I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Hi Jim,

I was reluctant to post the list here since It is slightly off topic and a
little long. Plus, I have thin skin and cry easily when people jeer.
(smile)

I will attach the file here. I did not write this for publication, so has
some minor errors in numbering, but the steps seem ok.

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards,

Fred

Hey Fred, if you find the list of steps, can you post it here?

Its likely there will be some jeering and such from some of us, but
its also likely we can streamline the instructions.

So far, all the posted instructions on this thread are missing many
steps, because they assume a great deal of MS Windows knowledge.

If someone has truely written down all the steps, we should try and
turn that into real documentation.

I also agree that the new companion software will help.
